Host Cities

Russia is an exciting, mysterious and diverse country. The Bid Committee kept this in mind when crafting our host cities concept so as to provide the World Cup visitor with a true Russian experience. We have a multi-cluster concept with a cluster in the north, centered on St. Petersburg, a central cluster, centered on Moscow, a southern cluster, centered on Sochi, and the Volga River cluster, which represents cities situated on or around this beautiful natural attraction. Beyond the Ural Mountains, Yekaterinburg completes the selection of host cities. Understanding the multi-cultural diversity of Russia's history, landscapes and people is what makes Russia such a unique and dynamic choice for the 2018/2022 World Cup.
